The duet “TENCA”, which through hard work and unconditional talent made it to the top lists of favorite performers in Armenia, Russia and other former CIS republics, deservedly soared to the very top of major music charts in 2019, received a sea of admiring reviews from a large army of fans of friends – Yerevanians. Gevorg Aghajanyan and Tigran Harutyunyan, not only creative colleagues, but also friends from their student days – performers who blew up the Internet with the track “Rain”. It would seem that the duet has a potentially great future, the guys' fans were looking forward to new singles, the band began touring with great success, and suddenly… Gevorg Agadzhanyan said that he was starting from scratch: solo singles, marked with the nickname “JANAGA”, began to appear on the Internet one after another.
No, friends did not quarrel! In January 2020, it was announced that on April 12, a TENCA concert with JANAGA was scheduled in St. Petersburg. Fans of the duet found out even earlier (in the fall of 2019) that another member had joined the group, but the joint work of the group's former comrades-in-arms did not stop because of this. Fatum continues to cooperate with a friend, they successfully record new singles together. In early June, Gevorg encouraged fans that their joint creation, “I am not from your circle,” will soon see the light of day. A few days later, JANAGA fans (and Tigran's fans) were able to enjoy the magnificent track: the single on youtube almost instantly gained several hundred thousand views, appeared on music sites for download.

How it all started with JANAGA
Born into an intelligent family in the capital of the Republic of Armenia – this is known about the childhood of Gevorg Aghajanyan. An amazing fact, but a person who has a wonderful voice and hearing, did not learn to play musical instruments, has no musical education. When Gevorg entered the university, the place where he was born and grew up played a role: in Armenia, doctors are the most respected specialists, and families, even with modest incomes, often put all their efforts into ensuring that the child receives a medical education. This happened with the future singer JANAGA: he entered the best medical university of the republic at the Faculty of Military Medicine.
A significant meeting of two medical students took place at the university: Tigran Harutyunyan also studied there at the Faculty of Dentistry. Young people met at the university, their friendship gradually grew into a desire to create a musical project, to sing together. The search for a recording studio, renting a room for creativity – and now their first creation “Without You” appears on the net. The single attracted the attention of both the Armenian and the entire Russian-speaking musical public, and friends felt the favor of the first fans and happily released several more singles. A special place in the long list of songs of the future singer JANAGA and his friend Fatum was occupied by the single “Lion”: this EP-album in the middle of 2019 officially took 1st place in Russia and in several other countries in terms of sales.

Not all fans of “TENCA” immediately drew attention in the fall of 2019 to the “recasting” in their work. What happened to Gevorg Shamirovich, why he, although for a short time, but disappeared from social networks, stopped recording fresh singles with a friend – is not known, but it is essentially unimportant, because JANAGA, although he left the duet, did not quarrel with Fatum. A new performer came to the TENCA group to replace Gevorg who left it – Suren Kharutyunyan (as part of the duet he was announced with the nickname NERUS), and a new name appeared in the music world – JANAGA. “Notami”: the release of this solo album confirmed that the singer has the same successful path ahead as before with “TENCA”. Gevorg continued to delight fans with his creations.

The wonderful voice performing the lyrical single belongs to a young singer from Krasnodar, Vera Alekseeva. Vera was already known for her recorded tracks and live performances on the Internet, and collaboration with JANAGA only added to the well-deserved fame of the 17-year-old singer. “I noticed Vera on Instagram, and I wanted to produce her – this is our first work,” Gevorg introduced the girl to listeners on his youtube channel.

Gevorg Shamirovich does not cease to fruitfully create new hits; in early April 2020, his solo album “Round 1” was released. “From the bottom of my heart – for you!” – this is how JANAGA presented the collection to the fans. The single “Baby”, which appeared on the network in mid-May, instantly scored a hundred thousand likes on Gevorg's Instagram, received a bunch of reviews and praises on his youtube channel. Meanwhile, the network was gaining auditions and likes of the TENCA group already in a new line-up with NERUS – these are, for example, Lightning, By the Campfire, You are my mania. And JANAGA in their accounts reposted these tracks with the caption: “Listen to my brothers!”.
An old friend, colleague in TENCA, Gevorg is not forgotten, the comrades continue to cooperate, and in the spring of 2020 they announced that the release of the joint track “Not from your circle” is scheduled for mid-June. Fans of JANAGA & TENCA (Fatum)” were looking forward to listening to a new masterpiece, and Gevorg spurred on the excitement – both on Instagram and in other accounts, he offered to listen to a snippet of the song. Finally, the premiere took place, as promised, on June 11, and enthusiastic comments from fans of JANAGA and Fatum immediately rained down:

Almost nothing is known about this. In Gevorg's personal accounts, there is not a single photo with a girl about whom one could at least suspect that she was in a relationship with the singer. - There is unverified evidence that JANAGA, after graduating from the university, worked in his specialty, served as a military doctor. Allegedly, because of this, friends could not sign up outside of Armenia: after all, a military doctor is a restricted profession. Some resources mentioned that Gevorg quit his official job in 2019.
- One hundred percent of the singer is engaged in charity work, he just does not advertise it – he gives the impression of a kind and sympathetic person. Gevorg periodically also posts calls to help seriously ill children in his accounts.
- In May 2020, the track “Prayer” was released: Gevorg asked subscribers to help a child who needs a life-saving medicine for him. “Little friend, if they say that there is no good, then they are lying to you,” JANAGA addressed the kid in the song, and he was right.
