About Stepan's childhood and youth
A boy was born in a large family, where, in addition to him, there was also a middle sister and a younger brother. “Of course, dad and mom, and even my grandmother often visited us,” from the singer’s story in an interview for Radio RANSiS. There were people in Stepan's family who were fond of singing, according to his confession: his mother sang in the ensemble in his youth, his grandfather played the harmonica and also sang. It is banal, but it was true – the boy began to study vocals from childhood and dreamed of a musical career, and he was not embarrassed by a serious illness. The guy was sure that his dream would come true.
Radio and amateur performances – these two factors played a significant role in his life. Radio – because the evening listening to romantic melodies, lyrical songs raised Stepan's mood, expanded his musical “baggage”, and did not let the dream of a singer's career fade away. And in amateur performances, he developed his talent in practice, speaking with pleasure to the public. In the local Society of the Blind, the young man also had the opportunity to go on stage and practice singing. All childhood and youth, the future famous singer from the Crimea did not miss the opportunity to perform, wherever he was invited. In the school VIA “Orpheus” and in the choir, he also noted: “They called me to concerts, it happened,” according to Goncharenko.
His musical career
In 2012, the young man graduated from the Crimean Musical University in the class of “Academic vocal”. The graduation took place a few years later, as Stepan was already known on the big stage: since 2008, he has performed at the Lviv National Academic Drama Theater named after Marina Zankovetska. Together with the theater orchestra, as part of the project “Life has opened” for blind artists, he sang many times in front of a large audience.
The results of success were not long in coming, and the artist was awarded a well-deserved award, began to be invited to prestigious competitions:
- 2010 – participation in the vocal and choreographic competition “Running on the Waves”;
- 2012 – invitation and performance at the Chaliapin Competition;
- 2013 – awarding the title of “Honored Worker of Culture of Crimea”.
